how families should be

Paddling

Welcome

It’s something that many of us take for granted. Those of us who have been fortunate to have been raised in good, loving families, or maybe are now a parent or spouse in such a family, can count ourselves to be among the luckiest people on earth.
But of course even for the happiest of families, it isn’t sunshine and roses 24-hours a day. There will be days when a child tries a parent’s just a little bit too much, or a spouse is listless no matter what they or their partner do or say.
But that’s OK. This is all part of the strengthening bond, part of the understanding within the family.
Of course, not all families are the same. Some families consider the perfect family life to consist of all members quietly enjoying each other’s company. Other families might have members who prefer to compete with each other to strengthen their bonds. There is no “right” way. And just to throw a curved ball into the situation, there might be one or two members of the family who think and act differently from all the others. But again, that’s OK. Being different is good - it helps us to see things from a different perspective and consider other people’s viewpoint.
So, on that note, take your time to look around this site and think of all the different things that different families need or want. You never know… you might find something here to help make or keep you and your Family Happy!
